An Avalanche?
We've just gotten confirmation of a minor avalanche in the Ilion Gorge. Route 51 was partially shut down for a time, but is now re-open.
That just goes to show you what type of storm we're dealing with.
Update on road closure. Herkimer County has now issued a travel ban. The only vehicles allowed on the roads are emergency vehicles, snow plows, tow trucks, and essential personnel reporting to these jobs. This means stay off the roads folks or you could be looking at tickets and your insurance won't cover you if something happens!
