- ONEIDA COUNTY: Rt. 12 from New Hartford to Waterville - CLOSED since Wednesday
- HERKIMER COUNTY: Rt. 170 from Rt. 29 to the Little Falls line - CLOSED
- HERKIMER COUNTY: Rt. 170-A from Rt. 29 to the Little Falls line - CLOSED
- SYRACUSE/THRUWAY - Exit 39 ramp - CLOSED due to an accident
A number of minor accidents have also been reported in the area.

Hello WKTV,Have you taken a ride to the town of fairfield!!There are several roads closed,mine has been shut for three days.They blew mine open this morning and as of 10 am I am shut in again!!I probable will not see a plow till tomorrow then it will have to be a blower as a plow will never push the massive drifts that the wind has caused.We are in a massive mess! The neighbors have been great to me calling and making sure I am Fine,I'm alone on a dead end road and yes the only one on it!The town of fairfield is great, Mr. Dillonbec the town supervisor is trying so hard to keep these roads open,Thaught you should Know what is going on in this neck of your viewing area,By the way i am below your channel 2 tower. Just off of 169,I'd tell you to take a ride out here but the roads are one lane with bad white outs!When is the wind going to stop?It has not stoped since 2pm wednesday when it started.I'm also not the only secondary road closed i've been told ther are 8 out here in fairfield not counting 170,170A.

Snowing here very hard up on the Route 8/ North Gage Rd intersection
in Poland. has been whiteouts for the last hr or so. really really nasty !!! If driving drive very carefull, better yet don't drive at all....
I am supposed to drive from herkimer to indian lake tonight, anyone know how it is up rts. 28, 8, and 30?? I have a truck and i am towing a trailer, is it passable?
